REGIONAL CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY
Debbie has been a Biblical Studies student at our university for the past 2 years, always applying herself diligently to her studies and being faithful in her assignments, while faithfully carrying out her volunteer duties at her church in cooking, pantry work, and general cleaning. Two weeks ago, Debbie graduated with an Associate Degree in Theology & Biblical Studies, and received her Diploma at the graduation which was held. She happily posted photographs of her graduation on her social media accounts.
A few days ago, Debbie was contacted by one of the Outreach leaders of her church who had seen the post. Debbie was told that the church was planning the annual Christmas clothing, shoes, and toys outreach for needy families of the community at which it was estimated that several thousand people would be in attendance. To Debbie’s great surprise, the Outreach leader asked her if she would be willing to work as a volunteer in the prayer room that was being set up to handle counseling and prayer for families who would feel a need for spiritual help as well as the economic assistance that was being offered. Debbie felt in her heart that the invitation had come as a result of her successful training in biblical studies and knew that this was what she had been preparing for all along. She was overjoyed that this new phase of ministry was being opened up to her and is looking forward to reaching hurting people in a new and transforming way.
We praise God for the preparation that is being offered to many people like Debbie, and appreciate your continued prayer and support for this very important ministry of biblical higher education.
